The first album contains objects of vertu (rock crystal, ivories, enameled metalwork), inlaid furniture, tapestries., etc. mostly nineteenth century, in Gothic and Renaissance revival taste. The second album begins with nine views of the opulent parlor settings for the collection decorated with ferns, hammocks, draperies, tapestries, parasols, oriental rugs and elaborate furniture, followed by illus. of arms and decorative metalwork, including damascened daggers, Gothic and Renaissance helmets and pikes, flintlocks, and several Japanese swords. Photos in the third album are of Hispano-Moresque lustreware, faience, maiolica, Moorish tiles and four Greek vases.
